Adult Repetitive Behaviours Questionnaire-2 (RBQ-2A)
The RBQ-2A describes two groups of repetitive-behaviour experiences: repetitive sensory-motor behaviours and insistence on sameness. The published paper explicitly says it is not a stand-alone autism diagnostic tool.

What this covers
- Repetitive sensory-motor behaviours
- Repetitive movements, object use and sensory interests covered by items 1–12.
- Insistence on sameness
- Preferences for routines, repetition and sameness covered by items 13–20.
Who it is for
Adults who want a structured reflection on repetitive movements, sensory interests, routines and preference for sameness.
What your result can show
Responses are averaged from 1 to 3 overall and for each published dimension. The questionnaire has no diagnostic cutoff; the scores only describe the response pattern.
Important limitations
Repetitive behaviours occur in many people and contexts. This measure does not assess the full range of autism criteria, developmental history, disability, strengths or alternative explanations.
A higher score does not establish a diagnosis. A lower score does not show that a condition is absent.
